Description
Summary:PP field is an oil and gas field that has been operated for years and is still explored by the company in the area. PP field is in the South Sumatera basin. By administrative, this field is in South Sumatera with 25,230 km2. The purpose of this study is to analyze geology of this area, make a reservoir model, and calculate reserved hydrocarbon in interval target. This study is focusing on Talangakar Formation. In this study, we use log data from six wells, core analysis data, and 27 seismic lines. The method to use in this study is correlation data wells with petrophysics and seismic data to get reservoir geometry. The output from this study is model structure, fluids contacts, and calculated reserved hydrocarbon. The result of this study is reservoir in PP Field is sandstone with porosity 0.1 (v/v), Shale volume 0.32, and water saturation 0.72 controlled by anticline with normal fault. The sedimentation environment of the reservoir is braided channel (fluvial dominated delta). The hydrocarbon estimation in this study is 44.91 MMBO.
