Description
Summary:The area of Sarimukti landfill is located in Cipatat, West Bandung. In a landfill, leachate is a contaminant liquid from the seepage of surface water, leading to waste. Leachate water is collected into the leachate basin. It is necessary to review the seepage of leachate around the landfill area. The Self Potential (SP) method can investigate seepage and fluid flow. Based on the description above, a study was conducted to determine the distribution of contamination fluid around the measurement area of the Sarimukti landfill. This study uses the Self Potential (SP) method with a fixed base technique. Data processing was conducted using an inversion process with Res2dinv software and supporting software such as surfer, google earth, global mapper, and photoshop. The results were interpreted and analyzed in 2D profiling. The results of inversion and interpretation estimated that almost all of the material in each track measured were dominated by leachate contaminants. In the results before the correction, the potential difference value shows a negative value of -989.9 mV, and the results of the regional and residual separation show that the rising pattern towards the south corresponds to the streaming potential with values ranging from -750 mV to 900 mV
