Summary: | The Gedebage area has the concept of Bandung Technopolis. This idea was given by the
Bandung City government to build a second city center in Bandung City. Technopolis is a
concept of developing a city as a Central Business District (CBD) based on information and
communication technology. Gedebage District is planned to be a place of work, living area,
and recreation in one area.
By utilizing one of the regional icons, namely the GBLA Stadium, the construction of the GBLA
Sport Center Phase 1 project is one of the answers for Bandung Technopolis. Community
activities such as recreation and sports as well as existing events can be carried out in the
GBLA Public Multisports building. GBLA Public Multisport is a complement to the GBLA
stadium. In this building, many types of sports can be played in one building. Sports that can
be carried out in this building can be carried out spontaneously, such as jogging, futsal,
basketball games, volleyball games, badminton, table tennis, billiards, bowling, etc.
GBLA Public Multisport is a building that has the potential to become a sports center. This
building can also be considered unique because it is not like a stadium in general. Therefore,
it is necessary to design a structure that is safe and suitable for use as well as earthquake
resistant. The city of Bandung is one of the cities on the island of Java which is close to the
confluence of two plates, the Eurasian Plate and the Australian Plate. Indonesia itself is also
part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area prone to volcanic eruptions.
In the field of structure, the parts that need to be considered are the materials used, the
structural system, the modeling of structural elements along with the detailing of the
connections with the latest applicable regulatory standards. To make it easier to analyze data,
the use of the software is very helpful in processing the data. The results of the analysis such
as forces in the structure will be used for the design of the substructure by the Geotechnical
team and calculations of the Building budget plan and scheduling and so on by the
Construction Engineering Management team.
The conclusion for this final project in the field of structure is the design results in the form of
element sizes and detailing of reinforcement and joints that are under the conditions of the
GBLA Public Multisport building. To facilitate the delivery of design results, detailing and
elements will be visualized with technical drawings made with AutoCAD software.
