It is a very important thing to increase company revenue and become a key factor to develop another well which means exploring more oil/gas. If it fails, so many value budgets will be lost due to huge budget spending/investment in drilling work.
The happening track record, some companies (subsidiaries of Pertamina) proposed the drilling well (Exploration Well) with failure as result.
In this thesis, we will analyze the root cause of some last failure and missing link in Decision Making, and lessons learned from that failure, analyze existing and next proposals more deeply using the right tool, make decision-making approaches and methods, and decide on the next step (drill or no drill).
Hopefully, this thesis can be used for every people in common and for PT Pertamina in special cases.
