Description
Summary:Alloy is multifunctional material with different traits based on components of the mixture and synthesis methods. One of the uses of alloys is as catalysts, for example in this research alloy Cu-Co is used as a catalyst in an oxygen reduction reaction. To become a suitable catalyst self-sacrificing template can be used for the synthesis method. With MOF HKUST-1 (Cu-BTC) and Co-BTC as templates, we hope the alloy has a porous trait following the template. Making the alloy uses milling and calcination to mix and degenerate organic components in MOF. In this research, the optimal state is sought in each process for the best alloy results. Using XRD to check is alloy synthesized, and the result is alloy peaks are seen in difractogram. To see whether the alloy is porous or not, SEM and BET analysis have been used. The result from SEM is the alloy surface is seen porous, and with BET the surface área are counted as 185.765 m²/g. The optimum condition that are tested are ratio of ball and sample, time of milling, calcination temperatura, and calcination time
