The provision of infrastructure is sometimes not well-targeted. The Citarik Subwatershed plays an important role in the life of the community and has the potential for rafting water recreation. Water pollution in the Citarik Subwatershed is dominated by domestic and agricultural activities. The objective of this study is the role of infrastructure in pollution control of the Citarik Subwatershed. This research was conducted by analyzing the sources of pollution, identifying community accessibility to wastewater infrastructure, and modeling the role of infrastructure in controlling water pollution in the Citarik Subwatershed. The method used is quantitative method. The Citarik Subwatershed pollution control model uses system dynamics modeling with the help of Powersim Studio 10. The model is built from a population submodel and an environmental submodel. The analysis results show that the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) parameter has exceeded the class II water quality standard. The dominant pollution in the Citarik Subwatershed comes from the domestic sector, which contributes 4,438.69 tons/year, while the agricultural sector contributes 128.05 tons/year of BOD pollutant load. Infrastructure accessibility coverage in the Citarik Subwatershed reaches 75.65%. Based on the results of the model simulation, it is found that the role of wastewater infrastructure for the moderate scenario is able to reduce the pollutant load by 13.3% from the existing condition, while the optimistic scenario has a contribution in reducing the pollutant load by 23.9% under the existing condition. Wastewater infrastructure has a role in assisting water pollution control. text
