Description
Summary:One of the challenges humanity has been exposed to is its changing and advancing. This complex phenomenon of accelerated transformation is running and is noticeable both at the level of collective and individual life. The global phenomenon known as the Industrial Revolution had a powerful effect on the development of modern society because it radically changed society, the economy, technology, and politics. At the Davos Conference in 2016, the theme of a new industrial revolution became official, and the foundations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution were laid. That revolution marks a crucial moment in the evolution of humanity because it is the first one rooted in the technological phenomenon of digitalization and a new type of energy. High-tech from the Fourth Industrial Revolution is often perceived as a green industry. Silicon Valley has become an economic phenomenon that other regions attempt as an industrial estate development company integrated into an independent city. PT. Jababeka Tbk takes advantage of the fourth revolution industry with transformation through Green Industrial Estate and Silicon Valley Ecosystem. This is in line with presidential regulation No 98 of 2021 and President Joko Widodo's directions in preparation for this year's G20 Presidency regarding the energy transition and national priority programs, Making Indonesia 4.0, launched by Mr. President Jokowi in 2018. This research aims to analyze the collaboration and the challenges faced and formulate the best strategy to transform toward Green Industrial Estate and Silicon Valley Ecosystem at PT. Jababeka Infrastructure uses Vigoda and Gilboa's collaboration process theory (2002). Based on the research result, it was found that PT. Jababeka Infrastructure still needs to implement the Penta helix collaboration well. In the Green Industrial Estate transformation, PT. Jababeka Infrastructure recently carried out a collaboration with PT. PertaminaPower. Meanwhile, in the transformation of the Silicon Valley Ecosystem, PT. Jababeka Infrastructure is doing well because it has collaborated with Government, Academia, Business, and Media. PT. Jababeka Infrastructure still needs to catch up in transformation toward the Silicon Valley Ecosystem, as seen by benchmarking results to Silicon Valley, USA. Six characteristics need to be improved by PT. Jababeka Infrastructure. In addition, the author recommends several things to improve collaborations undertaken to accelerate transformation.
