This material has been around since 1899, and is experiencing increasing popularity today, especially in the field of smart textiles. Photochromic materials can be used for functional purposes such as detecting UV light, or for purely aesthetic purposes. However, this material has not been widely studied in Indonesia, so there is potential in developing photochromic materials, especially in fashion. “Ghost in The Shell” (2017) is one example of a form of cyberpunk media, which depicts a life where the boundaries between humans and machines are blurred. This film provides interesting visual effects and has the potential to be applied to fashion, especially because there is still little research on this film. Through exploration with screen printing and digital printing techniques, the application of the visual of this film by combining photochromic materials can add new innovation, especially in fashion and textiles. The results of this research are not only in the form of textiles, but also developed into fashion products. text
