DESIGN OF RETAINING WALL AND BORED PILE FOUNDATIONS OF CIREBON YOUTH AND CULTURAL CENTER BUILDING

Cirebon Youth and Cultural Center is an art building aimed to increase the interest of tourists and the younger generation in the local culture of the City of Cirebon. This building is present to as a solution for the Cirebon City government to overcome the declining interest of tourist and the younger generation of Cirebon City toward the local culture. It is located near the city square of Cirebon which is one of the crowded residential areas and has 5 floors, 1 semi-basement, and 2 basement floors. In this project, it will have an excavation of 9,5 meters supported by a secant pile and strutting system. Analysis was performed with PLAXIS 2D with Mohr-Coulomb soil model. The diameter of secant pile is 800 mm with a total depth of 23 m. Strutting system were installed on elevation of -1 m and -5,5 m On foundation aspect, bored pile foundations will be used on design. Lateral bearing capacity of a single pile is calculated by LPILE software, analysis of the pile group by GROUP software, and settlement analysis by manual calculation. The design of reinforcement of secant pile and foundations follows the SNI 2847-2019 regulations on Procedures for Planning Concrete Structures for Buildings. Pile cap and tie beam are also checked according to internal forces
