BANGUN ENERGI) Pramudito, Adrian Indonesia Theses Design for Six Sigma, Business Process, Engineering, FEED. INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/70650 SARS Covid 19 pandemic with its characteristics of wide and rapid infection rate creates a catastrophic impact on every business line all over the world. Social restriction is one of many countermeasures imposed by countries around the world. This restriction forced companies to adapt the change, from normal working scheme that requires physical coordination and presence to remote working where employees are isolated from each other, in order to sustain during pandemic. PT. Bangun Energi as one of national Engineering Procurement & Construction Company also implement this scheme during pandemic to carried out its engineering activity with many challenges inside to deliver the product to the client on schedule. The purpose of this final project is to design new business process for Front End Engineering Design engineering phase that can sustain another pandemic or situation which administer social restriction which eliminates physical coordination that normally present in office. The design of the engineering procedure should be able to keep internal approval time as that during normal condition. Design for Six Sigma is selected as framework to design the procedure which consists of Define, Measure, Analyze, Design and Verify steps to be accomplished. Primary data collection comprises of interviews, group discussion, surveys while secondary data is acquired via internal document access. To find root cause, current reality tree and 8 waste theory are applied while for designing the solution FMEA method is performed to assess the priority. For the final step, Kano model is utilized to verify the proposed design to ensure that the product has met customer expectation. From the design step there are 9 proposed solutions that consists of review settlement procedure, training, and tools administering to be implemented on the new business process. Further verification process based on the framework yields 7 solutions to be implemented on the next engineering project. text |
