TRANSFORMATION OF BIJB KERTAJATI MAJALENGKA AS THE SELECTED LOGISTIC TRANSPORTATION OF WEST JAVA MARINE AND FISHERY INDUSTRY

West Java has built import-export gates, namely BIJB Kertajati Majalengka, but yet to be utilized. The government's policy is less strict in emphasizing West Java's Marine and Fisheries industry in using logistics transportation through BIJB Kertajati Majalengka. Still, there needs to be more communication from BIJB to the marine and fisheries industry of West Java regarding cargo and BIJB facilities. The West Java fisheries and marine industry, as an export and import gate did not choose BIJB Kertajati Majalengka. There is no demand for cargo logistics from the marine and fisheries industry through BIJB Majalengka, which has the potential to generate income. This report primarily used questionnaires, interviews, FGD, and secondary data from various publications and other sources. The questionnaire distributes through the Google Form application to 63 managers of the marine and Fisheries industries in West Java. Participants in the logistics process at BIJB Kertajati Majalengka were asked to participate in the FGD process. Based on these problems, "Systems Thinking" is created as a process of trying to achieve three objectives. In the end, the applied inquiry is carried out using Scenario Planning, which begins with determining Key Focal Issues, then proceeds with determining driving forces through PESTEL analysis. The result shows that West Java has the potential for the Marine and Fisheries Logistics Industry in West Java as a target for the BIJB approach. The strategy that must be carried out by BIJB Kertajati Majalengka to be chosen by the West Java marine and fisheries industry as a means of logistics transportation are building approaches with overseas buyers of marine and fishery products, taking a political system with the government to make mandatory policies for the West Java marine and fisheries industry to use logistics transportation through BIJB Kertajati Majalengka and conduct socialization to the marine and fisheries industry in West Java—submitting the West Java government to provide subsidies or facilities for the West Java marine and fisheries industry using logistics transportation through BIJB Kertajati Majalengka.
