DEVELOPMENT OF DOMESTIC WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT IN HIGH OPEN DEFECATION NEIGHBORHOOD IN KALIBARU, NORTH JAKARTA

As much as 72.7% of pollution on the Ciliwung river in Jakarta comes from the generation of domestic wastewater, part of which comes from open defecation (BABS), one of which comes from Kalibaru Village, Cilincing District (Ministry of Environment and Forestry, 2020). In the recapitulation of STBM data for DKI Jakarta Province in 2022 by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, it was found that 8,745 households or 23.8% of households in Kalibaru Village were still practicing open defecation (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2022). In Governor Regulation Number 90 of 2018 it is determined that RW 4 and 7 of the Kalibaru Sub-District are the most slum areas so they have the potential to be the highest contributor to domestic wastewater pollution and it is proven by the results of the Transect Walk that was conducted that RW 4 did a lot of open defecation at sea while RW 7 did a lot practice open defecation in the river. The domestic wastewater management system planned for this area is in the form of Individual Septic Tanks, Communal Septic Tanks, Communal TOILETS, and Shallow Sewer Communal WWTP which is determined based on field conditions. In planning the sewerage route consisting of IK 131 and IK 102, several alternatives are prepared and weighted as a percentage for each alternative using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. From this weighting, alternative 2 was chosen for IK 131 which serves 257 houses and alternative 1 for IK 102 which serves 110 houses. The types of pipes planned are all VU class PVC with diameters on IK 131 ranging from 107.8 mm to 154.8 mm while those on IK 102 are all 107.8 mm in diameter. Excavation at IC 131 is 0.43 – 2.51 m with a pipe slope of 0.00065 – 0.0399 while at IC 102 it is 0.75 – 1.61 m with a pipe slope of 0.002 – 0.0035. text
