The experiment were done in a constant volume combustion cylinder. The cylinder was equiped with a spark connected to an ignition system. Temperature and Pressure transduser connected to PC base data acquitition were attached in the cylinder to measure the gas temperature and pressure during combustion process. The experimental results shows that compared to ordinary hydrocarbon refrigerant, the hydrocarbon + LFS has higher LEL and lower UEL. <br /> <br /> <br /> Theoretical study was also carried out in this research. Le Chateliers rules and Spaldings theory were compared with the experimental results. The comparison show that the Spaldings theory is more accurate to predict the flammability compare to the Le Chatelier s rules. <br /> text |
