Description
Summary:Ambient noise interferometry has become one effective method to monitor relative velocity changes ini pre seismic, coseismic and post seismic phase. This research use ambient noise cross-correlation technique to compute empirical Green’s Function between station pairs from January to Desember 2019. Velocity variation focused on Ambon 6.6 Mw earthquake on September 26, 2019. ????????/???? computed by using Moving Wondow Cross Spectrum in microseism frequency range between 0.1 – 1.0 Hz. Velocity significantly dercreased following the mainshock event and reached -0.35% gradually in 5-10 days. After reached its minimum value, velocity bounced back to and increased gradually 0.4% and fluctuated between its original base values. Aftershock event around the hypocenter and fault plane caused fluctuation following the mainshock until end of December. Rapid and significant decreased ????????/???? value may caused by deformation and cracking mechanism around the hypocenter. Meanwhile, the bounced back ????????/???? value after reach its minimum value took longer duration (7-14 days) indicated as post seismic relaxation and closing crack mechanism involved in post-seismic event in the medium.
