One of the highest case contributors for COVID-19 is in Bandung. Therefore, a referral hospital for COVID-19 in Bandung requires excellent health facilities and services in order to create successful handling. Health services cannot be separated from the role of nurses. Nurses are faced with high responsibilities and high risk of experiencing burnout at work. Therefore, an analysis is needed regarding the resilience of the health system at the hospital level, and burnout in nurses at Bandung City Hospital. This research is a type of mixed method research with interviews and using questionnaires from the Maslach Burnout Inventory. The minimum number of research samples using this quantitative approach was 74. The results of the assessment of the resilience of the hospital health system based on WHO guidelines with 12 indicators have met the requirements, except that there are still deficiencies in the aspects of occupational health, mental health and psychosocial support. The drawback is that the hospital has not made efforts to monitor safety and security during the trip (going home or going work) for staff. As for the burnout aspect of nurses, an average of 1.637 was obtained (first wave of the pandemic), 1.64 (second wave of the pandemic), and 1.573 (third wave of the pandemic). The nurse burnout score was in a low category both during the first, second and third wave of the pandemic. In addition, it was also found that there were significant differences in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion during the first, second and third wave of the pandemic. Whereas in the dimensions of reduced personal accomplishment and depersonalization there was no significant difference during the first, second, or third wave of the pandemic. text |
