The increase in population growth affects the amount of water needed that must be treated by water treatment plants. The uprating method is carried out to increase production capacity because it has the advantage of saving costs and does not require new land. Perumda Tirta Pakuan Bogor City and Perumda Tirta Mangutama Badung Regency have been uprated with a plan to increase capacity by 1000 l/second. Tirta Pakuan, which is sourced from raw water from the Cisadane River, uprating from a discharge of 500 l/second to 1000 l/second with a change in the sluice of the flocculation unit from 50×22 to 60×80 cm and additional channels from the coagulation unit in the form of 2 concrete pipes with a diameter of 1200 mm; the distance between plate settlers of sedimentation units from 9 cm to 3 cm, supernatant channels from 20×30 to 20×60 cm, outfall systems from 20×30 to 20×60 cm; and the addition of filtration basin from 6 to 8. Tirta Mangutama, which is sourced from raw water from the Tukad Badung Reservoir, uprating from a discharge of 300 l/second to 600 l/second with changes in the sedimentation unit from a conventional system to a plate settler system: addition of new basin of filtration from 3 to 5. These two WTP when uprated there is no cessation of operation and the quality of treated water until now meets the quality standards of Permenkes 492/2010. text
