Data transmission is carried out using the AMQP protocol in real-time based on several parameters, namely throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. Based on the calculation of the QoS parameters that have been carried out, the results obtained are a throughput value of 17.26047 kbps, a packet loss value of 0.567644% in the “Perfect” category, a delay value of 69.38889 ms in the “Best” category, and a value jitter of 69.38884 ms with “Good” category. So based on QoS measurement standards, it can be concluded that the transmission process runs smoothly and no messages are lost when using the AMQP protocol for data transmission in designing a swimming pool water temperature monitoring tool displayed on the RabbitMQ broker message dashboard. text |

Swimming has many benefits for the body, but if the water quality is bad it
can cause various diseases, so swimming pool water quality need to be monitored.
However, the monitoring of swimming pool water controlled manually. Therefore,
concomitant of technology development is needed an innovation to create a
technology that can facilitate everything, including an application of monitoring
system.
In this thesis, a temperature monitoring tool based on the Internet of Things
(IoT) is designed to measure the temperature of the water in a swimming pool in
the form of degrees Celsius and Farenheit values and can be monitored in a message
broker using the DS18B20 temperature sensor. Data transmission is carried out
using the AMQP protocol in real-time based on several parameters, namely
throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. Based on the calculation of the QoS
parameters that have been carried out, the results obtained are a throughput value
of 17.26047 kbps, a packet loss value of 0.567644% in the “Perfect” category, a
delay value of 69.38889 ms in the “Best” category, and a value jitter of 69.38884
ms with “Good” category. So based on QoS measurement standards, it can be
concluded that the transmission process runs smoothly and no messages are lost
when using the AMQP protocol for data transmission in designing a swimming pool
water temperature monitoring tool displayed on the RabbitMQ broker message
dashboard. |
