Description
Summary:PT Tirta Investama (Danone Aqua) is a bottled water company. PT Tirta Investama is currently implementing digital technology. ADOP (Aqua Digital Operation Platform) was used for the implementation. ADOP is an application that is used on computers. The supply chain senior manager was discovering that some employees were having trouble using ADOP. ADOP was not well accepted by the employees. PT Tirta Investama tried to solve the problem. However, PT Tirta Investama has yet to achieve the desired outcome. Root cause analysis with five whys showed that PT Tirta Investama needed to know the factors that influence ADOP acceptance that could be discovered by implementing a technology acceptance model. The goal of the research is to implement the ADOP technology acceptance model and identify factors that influence ADOP technology acceptance. In this research, as many as 161 employees participate. The model framework used in the research is based on a modified version of UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology). The model used in this research consists of five constructs that are used to explain technology acceptance: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, and behavioral intention. Besides that, the model used two moderating variables, that is age and experience. Model analysis was done with the SEM (structural equation modeling) technique. The result of measurement and structural model analysis with SEM showed that the factors that influence ADOP acceptance are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, and behavioral intention. Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence influence technology acceptance indirectly through behavioral intention. Facilitating condition and behavioral intention influence technology acceptance directly. Furthermore, age positively moderates the relationship between the facilitating condition and ADOP acceptance.
