Description
Summary:Indonesia's achievement of access to proper and safe sanitation in 2020 is 79.53%. The government sets the 2020-2024 RPJMN to achieve access to proper and safe sanitation (Domestic Wastewater) by 90% to reduce maternal mortality and stunting. The West Java Provincial Government has inaugurated this communitybased sanitation program in 18 Bandung districts. Especially in the Citarum watershed, domestic waste contributes 68% to river pollution and has a water quality status for the last 10 years, showing 54% heavily polluted, 23% moderately polluted, 20% lightly polluted and only 3% meet the quality standard (KLHK). , 2018). Efforts to improve the control of domestic wastewater pollution require the selection of technology which is influenced by many factors, so a theoretical and practical approach is needed that pays attention to sustainability aspects. Improving the performance of domestic wastewater treatment plants with the application of additional technology is one of the efforts to manage wastewater that has a positive impact if accompanied by the right strategy. Neglasari Village Banjaran District, Sayati Village Margahayu District, and Cipaku Village Paseh District, are sub-districts in Bandung Regency that have implemented the Sanimas (community-based sanitation) program that has not met the standard so that it is necessary to continuously improve the performance of WWTP Sanimas. Therefore, information is needed on the level of community participation in the Sanimas program using the Likert method given to 82 respondents in Neglasari Village, Banjaran District, Sayati Village, Margahayu District, and Cipaku Village, Paseh District. Of the three Sanimas WWTP locations spread from upstream of the river, the Sanimas WWTP location is in a densely populated area and an area prone to sanitation, and also has a need for handling sanitation problems. Judging from the environmental conditions around the WWTP and according to the criteria for the 2021 Sanimas Technical Guidance Guidelines issued by the Sanitation Directorate of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing as a consideration, from the results of the preliminary survey and analysis, it can be concluded that the Sanimasinfrastructure development is located in Neglasari village, Banjaran district, Bandung regency. This research was conducted using the SWOT method. SWOT analysis is carried out to obtain priority strategy recommendations. From the results of the SWOT analysis, namely IFAS (Internal Factor Strategies) and EFAS (External Factor Strategies), the strength value is 1,250 and the competitive value is 1,013. The right strategy for the sustainability of the use of Sanimas infrastructure in Neglasari village is to conduct training by the Regional Government to gradually increase the ability of Sanimas managers and add Sanimas infrastructure to improve the quality of the environment to be cleaner and healthier.
