INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/70963 One dimensional model of coastline change is utilized to simulate coastline change and alongshore transport on Nusa Dua Beach, Bali. This model was simulated to observe coastline change that occurs with the influence of the T-head groins structure G5 which is located between G4 groin and GN1 groin structures and was built in 2004. Beach nourishment has also been done in 2005. The model uses ocean wave data from 2003-2015 to make predictions. Based on RMS error calculation, 2006 simulation has a RMS error of 1,01 meter and 2007 simulation has a RMS error of 0,91 meter. The simulation was done based on three scenario cases. The average coastline change happened on 2005-2015 when the presence of the T-head groin is not given is 7,33 m, the average coastline change happened on 2005-2015 when the presence of the T-head groin is given is 4,58 m, the average coastline change happened on 2003-2015 when there is no beach nourishment is 19,32 m. The presence of the T-head groin and beach nourishment causes a decreasing pattern of the coastline evolution average. This shows a process toward coastal stability. text
