However, the previous development had no impact on environmental preservation in the Situ Gede Tasikmalaya Tourist Attraction area, so it was considered not optimal in the development of sustainable tourism. This study aims to identify tourism potential in the City of Tasikmalaya, identify the level of tourism sustainability and appropriate strategies to be used in developing sustainable tourism in the Situ Gede Tasikmalaya Tourism Attraction area. This study uses several analytical methods, namely quantitative analysis methods using literature analysis and index. While the qualitative analysis method uses descriptive analysis, through IFAS, EFAS and SWOT matrix analysis. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to managers and the community around the Situ Gede Tasikmalaya Tourism Attraction, as well as related stakeholders. In addition, this research is strengthened by conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders. The result of the study states that there are a lot of tourism potentials in Tasikmalaya, including 19 Tourist Attractions have been developed, 7 are in the development stage, and there are still 22 that have not been developed. The results of the level of tourism sustainability in Tasikmalaya City are categorized as "high" with an index of 70.86%. The results of the analysis of internal and external factors state that Situ Gede Tasikmalaya Tourism Attraction is in quadrant I, meaning that it has strengths and opportunities for sustainable tourism development. The results of the SWOT analysis based on IFAS and EFAS, in the form of a proposed sustainable tourism development strategy using a growth-oriented strategy. text |
