As one or media that utilizes visuals in conveying messages, film is formed by two main elements, namely narrative elements and cinematic elements. Through these elements, the film Our Planet, which brings environmental issues to the big idea, becomes important to discuss, especially the message that the creators want to convey through visual images. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to look at the framing strategy used by creators to frame films. The approach used is a qualitative approach with framing analysis using the William Gamson & Andre Modiglani model as an analytical knife. The results of this study show the retrieval and arrangement strategies used by creators in managing visual images in the film Our Planet with framing devices and reasoning devices to convey messages that want to convey to the audience. text |
