Description
Summary:PT Prakarsa Triputra Solusi (PTS.SC) is a technology-based company that provide end-to-end supply-chain management services for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). PTS.SC is in the process of adopting agile organizations to improve its capabilities to cope with growth, but to no avail. The root cause is because PTS.SC doesn’t know the right steps to adopt agile organizations. Agile framework can bring many benefits to the organization whose adopting it but benefits of agile can only be gained if agile adopted in the right manner. Therefore, it is necessary to design an agile adoption strategy for PTS.SC. The development of agile framework adoption strategy for PTS.SC is done by using organisation agility maturity model developed by Sidky (2007) called Sidky agile Measurement Index (SAMI) maturity model. SAMI maturity model measure the readiness of organization to adopt agile practices for each level of maturity, and for this research model adjustments have been made. The process of measuring the maturity consist of 4 step: Discontinuing Factors, Project-Level Assessment to measure the target agile level, Organizational Readiness Assessment to measure the agility of the organization, and reconciliation if there is a difference between the target agile level and the agility of organization. The agility measurement of PTS.SC shows that PTS.SC agility is on level 1 (collaborative) and the target agile level is on level 1, so no reconciliation is needed. Therefore, an agile adoption strategy was made for PTS.SC. An agile organizational transformastion model was used to design the adoption strategy, namely the RICH (Ready, Implement, Coach, Hone) Deployment Model. The result of the strategy design process is agile project charters for each agile practices adopted.
