Summary:Dumai is one of the cities that has the largest number of oil palm in Riau. Therefore, to support distibution of oil palm, Dumai need to planning construction of liquid bulk dock.This berth can construction with dolphin type. This berth is planned to consist of loading platfrom, bresting dolphin, mooring dolphin, trestle and catwalk..in this final project will be discussed regarding the desaign steps and design of the berth for the dimensions of the structure and its elements. Calculation for dimensions of the berth structure elements is determined by checking its strength against the load that worked. Berth planning carried out by considering aspects of enviromental, operational data and availabity of components.Enviromental data must be calculation first.Resultfrom this claculation became input load for this element. Structural analysis was performed using SAP200 software. Inputs needed are material data, dimensional of structure elements, structure layout and loads. The output obtained in the form of Unity Check Ratio (UCR), defleksion, internal forces and placement reactions. UCR and deflection values are requirements in analyzing the structure. While internal forces and placement reactionswill be used for calculited of flexural and shear recuitment.
