On August 26, 2019, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has decided that part of the North Penajam Paser area and part of Kutai Kartanegara in East Kalimantan as the location for the construction of the new capital city of the Republic of Indonesia. The plan to move the capital city has passed a review from the National Planning and Development Agency (Bappenas RI). The President of the Republic of Indonesia said that the new capital city would not only be a symbol of the nation's identity, but also as a representation of the nation's progress. However, the description and the area and environment around the IKN area has never had a definite picture of how people who want to visit the IKN area, especially East Kalimantan, get information related to accommodation (lodging), places of education, places of worship, cultural places and existing tourist attractions. in the region. On the other hand, the media used to convey this information continues to grow. The purpose of this design is to produce a 360° virtual tour that can function as a medium for introduction, information, communication, education, and provides a virtual experience as if visiting East Kalimantan. This 360° virtual tour displays places in East Kalimantan that show accommodation (lodging), places of education, places of worship, places of culture and tourist objects in the new state capital area in East Kalimantan
