Until now, the absorbers still use synthetic material that will increase another sphere pollution because this material can not be hang loosely by nature. To cope with those problems, in this final assignment, the author makes an absorber that uses natural fiber. This fiber has good performance as absorber and has a biodegradable characteristic, so this fiber can hang loosely by nature. In this final assignment, this material is build as sandwich composite, and then according to the theory of absorber this sandwich composite is arrange in some configuration to have a good performance as absorber. To measure noise absorption capability of material, can be used impedance tube. The noise absorption capability can be seen from sound absorption coefficient that will be obtained from impedance tube. With impedance tube, the sound absorption coefficient that can be measured only normal sound absorption coefficient. The testing of material with impedance tube is done in some configuration to have an optimum result. text
