description There are around 911,000 ha of critical land in West Java Province, of which around 200,000 ha of critical land is in forest areas, consisting of conservation forest, protected forest, production forest. Mount Manglayang is one of the areas with critical land where the Hutan Daerah Kiarapayung (HDK) is located. Based on the disaster aspect, Mount Manglayang is part of the remnants of Mount Sunda along with other sub-mountains. In addition to volcanoes, earthquakes and landslides, drought can also be a threat to the community around the HDK. Mount Manglayang has several springs that are used as a source of clean water, one of which is near the Jatinangor Ring Bridge which is under the auspices of BBWS (Center for River Basin), because this spring empties into the Cikeruh river, which is a tributary of the Citarum. Activities in the tourism sector in mountainous areas can be one solution to overcome these problems. The Leuweung Kiarapayung Festival is a monthly cultural event organized by the West Java Provincial Forestry Service as an attraction for visitors to come to the Kiarapayung Regional Forest. Landscape functions are related to environmental goods and services provided by landscapes which include production functions (food, clothing, shelter, energy), habitat (where biodiversity lives), regulators (various cycles in the biosphere and atmosphere) and information (beauty/recreation/cultural). Eco-tourism is an operational concept and tries to apply this concept in Indonesia by emphasizing four criteria towards sustainable tourism, including: education, conservation, economy and participation. This design thesis uses an eco-tourism design approach. carried out in several stages, including; Inventory, Analysis using the LaGro method, produces Synthesis, then enters into planning which produces the Concept of Space, Circulation, and Vegetation in the Design Drawings. An eco-tourism-based landscape planning is needed to utilize a Leuweung Forest Market Area in the Kiarapayung Region to protect the area itself. By actively involving the community, through tourism products with local wisdom and cultural and educational values in the region. In the Pasar Leuweung Kiarapayung Design, creating a landscape space based on eco-tourism that functions as a forest area conservation and improves the economy of the people around the Leuweung Kiarapayung market. Availability of natural galleries or libraries in the form of bamboo arboretums, experimental gardens and agroforestry as a means of nature education. The interactive landscape room displays attractions of local wisdom, Sundanese culture and modern form of an Instagrammable boardwalk to attract tourists to visit. Availability of green fields and nature workshops as educational facilities for visitors and the surrounding community to preserve the forest. Creating job opportunities to improve the creative economy of the community around the Leuweung Kiarapayung market. Landscape areas that are low-maintenance with the arrangement and use of landscape materials that pay attention to ecological aspects that are sensitive to disaster mitigation. ased on the results of data collection, the analysis in the design applies eco-tourism aspects and criteria in the spatial design of the Bamboo Forest landscape at the Leuweung Forest Market in the Kiarapayung Region. The design aspect refers to the 3A aspects of tourism including: (1) Attraction (2) Accessibility (3) Amenities. Design criteria fulfill 5 aspects in the concept of eco-tourism including: (1) Conservation, (2) Education, (3) Participation, (4) Economy, and (5) Control. The results of this design can be a model for ecotourism development and an input for ideas for the government as well as the Kiarapayung Regional Forest community in overcoming critical land and developing sustainable nature tourism based on eco-tourism.
