Description
Summary:In 2022 Industrial Revolution 4.0 in manufacturing sector is developing rapidly. This aims to increase production effectiveness, especially Supply Chain Management (MRP) process. However, currently the MRP process in manufacturing industry is still labor-intensive, so updates are needed that are in line with Industry 4.0. This study aims to create a digital system for material procurement process, traceability and ideas for changing labor-intensive systems in air conditioning assembly projects. The digital system is created based on Manufacturing Execution System (MES), namely by creating a virtual model of supply chain process. To support development of digital systems, material data, production processes and data transmission are required. Modeling shows that the supply chain process becomes more effective, indicated by a shorter change in time than the labor-intensive system. Based on identification of material allows monitoring and obtaining information on time, quantity and identity of supplier in material ordering process. Based on these results, developed material management digital system framework can be used to replace manual recording system into an automated system (Industry 4.0).
