Therefore, during the rainy and dry seasons in the local area, there is no extreme difference in conditions. When the ecological balance is disrupted, its ability to absorb and store water becomes less than optimal. The dry season causes peatland to dry to a certain depth and become prone to burning. The purpose of this study is to model surface and subsurface flow in the Tanjung Leban canal. The hydraulic conductivity of peat obtained from the calibration calculation is 3.74 x 10-4 m/s. The calibration modeling results with field data have good results, with a correlation value of 0.026 and NSE of 0.754. Surface flow modeling using the HEC-RAS software with direct field measurement inputs of discharge. The water level of the canal was obtained at 4.44 - 4.51 for the existing condition and 4.72 - 4.83 for the planning condition. The water level was then modeled using the Q-gis Freewat plugins with inputs of canal distance, canal length, canal water level, recharge, and evapotranspiration for 4 months in 2019. From the modeling, it was found that in January there was an increase of 0.521, in February there was a decrease of 0.033, in March there was a decrease of 0.156, and in April there was an increase of 0.303. In those months, canal partition modeling was carried out with a height of 0.4 and all were safe. text
