This production system is starting to be abandoned by most other industries because it still uses traditional methods such as manual recording, direct coordination, and various other activities. To catch up with other countries' manufacturing production systems that have implemented Industry 4.0, a technological leap is needed without having to incur large costs. Every activity carried out at this time has a lot of wasted time causing the production process to be less than optimal. To increase production value to make it more efficient, efforts are needed to improve the production system for the better by making the flow of information run automatically as in Industry 4.0. The tool used to upgrade production systems is a Configurable Virtual Workstation (CVWS). The use of CVWS to improve the production system using a database model can produce information that functions to link work operating schedules with the production floor in the final assembly section. From the results of implementing CVWS can increase efficiency and reduce losses from the company. The value of the increased efficiency is that from data collection to processing it takes less than one minute and has the potential to prevent fines of up to IDR 168,000,000 for product delays. text |
