In 2020, BPR Intidana produced a net profit of IDR 45,601,965,000, a decrease of 23% compared to profit in 2019. Then it decreased again in 2021 amounting to IDR 27,682,030,000, a decrease of 39% from the previous year. The main cause of this decline in profit was due to increased restructuring and write-offs, which allegedly this was not only the result of external or macroeconomic conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but was influenced by internal conditions, namely problems with lending. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems in the BPR credit process procedures and formulate corrective solutions that can be implemented by companies so it can improve credit business performance. The root cause analysis process in this study uses credit performance analysis at BPR Intidana Sukses Makmur are Five (5) whys method and Potential Problem Analysis (PPA), while analysis of the credit procedure process using Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and the Stremalining method in Business Process Improvement (BPI). The data used in this study is primary data from financial statements and annual reports from 2019 to 2021 BPR Intidana Sukses Makmur as well as the results of interviews, surveys and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with internal party. After analyzing the process of credit procedures, research results were obtained which showed that there were five (5) sub-processes that received the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN), namely the Business and Collateral Survey, Hot Prospect or Pipeline, Incoming Applications (IA), Credit Decision Letters (SPPK), and Credit Proposal Recommendations (RPK). Based on the results of this analysis, the researcher recommends five (5) streamlining value-added improvements, namely Scoring enhacement, Customer segmentation, Periodic sampling (dual control), Customer process orientation, and Verification level parameters. text
