The Ministry of Communication and Informatics through the Directorate of Government Information Application Services (LAIP) together with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, the Ministry of PUPR, the Office of the Presidential Staff, the Ministry of Finance, the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, and the Ministry of PANRB initiated the implementation of the Movement Towards 100 smart cities. Agam Regency was selected as one of the regencies to compile a smart city master plan from fortyseven cities/regencies in Indonesia, through a selection assessment of the Movement Towards Smart City 2023 which was held online by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia, Directorate General of Informatics Applications. This research will discuss one of the dimensions of a smart city, namely smart governance. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of smart governance in public services in the field of tourism in Agam Regency, with the aim of identifying smart governance indicators in public services at the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office of Agam Regency, analyzing the level of application of smart governance indicators in public services at the Youth Tourism Office and Agam Regency Sport, and provide recommendations for the development of smart governance in public services at the Agam Regency Youth and Sports Tourism Office. Research analysis method with qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the primary data that has been obtained through observation and interviews as well as scoring analysis to assess the readiness of smart governance in the tourism sector in Agam Regency which consists of 3 domains, 6 aspects, and 12 indicators extracted from the smart governance performance model according to (Herdiyanti et al., 2019). Based on the results of the assessment of the readiness level, it can be seen that the final score for the readiness level of smart governance in public services in the tourism sector in Agam Regency is 73.833%, which is included in the Scale 3 category, with the statement Ready. It is known that the public policy domain has the highest domain readiness level score, this is evident from the availability of a government website to receive public reporting services for tourism services and the availability of system regulatory warehouses (Legal Documentation and Information Network System) in JDIH for tourism. Furthermore, the bureaucratic domain has a readiness level score under the public policy domain, because the smart city master plan for Agam Regency is not yet available and the stages will be planned to be prepared soon and the percentage of government open data for tourism is still small compared to the amount of tourism data that already exists. The public service domain has the lowest domain readiness level score, because online public services (e-government) for tourism have not yet been carried out online. text
