To reduce operational cost in hydroponic cultivation, research on pak choy plantation using liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) as a component of hydroponics nutrient solution is done. This study aims to determine the effect of LOF in hydroponic nutrient solutions on pak choy growth. The cultivation of pak choy is done at two different places: ITB Jatinangor and ITB Ganesha. At both places, pak choy is cultivated using DFT hydroponics system with the treatment of nutrient solutions as follows: (A) 100% of AB Mix; and (B) 50:50 of AB Mix and LOF. Each treatment consists of 24 plants in each location. Plants with LOF treatment in Jatinangor and Ganesha have the average shoot height of 3,894 cm and 4,033 cm respectively; total leaves of 7,667 and 13,958; leaf area 6,55 cm2 and 84,952 cm2; total fresh weight of 1,75 g and 46,495 g; total dry weight of 0,23 g and 2,539 g; root length of 39,134 cm and 14,182 cm; and leaf chlorophyll content of 1,723 mg/L and 10,027 mg/L. Statistical results show that the 50:50 mixture of LOF and AB Mix has not been able to give results as good as plants with 100% AB Mix nutrition based on all parameters in Jatinangor system and most parameters in Ganesha system. It is due to the content of macronutrients in LOF (N, P, and K) being lower than in AB Mix. From this study, it can be concluded that the composition of AB Mix and LOF (50:50) does not produce pak choy growth that is equivalent to that with 100% AB Mix nutrition. text
