But flexible working has demands to do many things and being willing to learn new things in order to the demands of the company gives rise to hustle culture. Hustle Culture is a neologism of workaholism who believe they will be successful at a young if they continue to work and have little time to relax. This research is proposed to find (1) the effect of hustle culture on employee performance and (2) the effect of hustle culture on employee performance mediated by employee engagement. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 150 respondents in millennials dan gen-z at startups. The data obtained were analyzed using path analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The researcher hypothesizes that hustle culture has a significant effect on employee performance (H1) and hustle culture has a significant effect on employee performance moderated by employee engagement (H2). This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 150 respondents. By practicing the path analysis, there are two output results of the sstructures have been done. The direct effect, hustle culture variable has no significant effect on employee performance (H1 is rejected). The statement is based on the significance of 0.272. The indirect effect, hustle culture has no significant effect on employee performance mediated by employee engagement (H2 is rejected). The statement is based on the significance of 0.025 and negative sign. So, creating a work-life balance is a factor that can decrease the habit of hustle culture and increase the effect of employee performance and engagement. text
