Description
Summary:The status of Indonesia as an archipelago makes almost every government and society activities happen on the seas such as shipping, fishery, mining, tourism and marine defence. Those activities effect Indonesian hydrodynamic information become important especially tide. In this current situation, the process to obtain tidal information could be achieved by measuring tide in every tidal station. However, this method is limited by the cost and the region that can be reached. To overcome this problem, Hydromod 1.0 has been made. However, this model still has limitation on the resolution. In this thesis, the development of Hydromod 1.0 will be performed. This development will improve the Hydromod 1.0 model becomes high resolution Hydromod (2’ resolution). The process of model development will be performed by using Delft3D. The data that are needed to develop this model are BATNAS BIG, meteorological data from Global Atmospheric Model ERA 5 and tidal constant from TPXO9 model.
