There is an active fault in Yogyakarta, namely the Opak Fault which influences earthquake activity that occurs in the Yogyakarta area. This study tries to carry out a Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (PSHA) in the Yogyakarta area by looking at the seismic hazard function of Java Island. The seismic hazard function is calculated based on the magnitude range of 6.0 to 8.5 for 50 years with a radius of 150 km from the observation point. Based on the seismicity model, there are accumulations of earthquakes in Yogyakarta which are thought to originate from opaque faults. Therefore, weighting around the opaque fault was carried out to form a seismicity model of the opaque fault which was then used in the formation of the SHF to see the effects of the seismicity of the opaque fault in Yogyakarta. text
