Description
Summary:The operation of the CRJ1000 has placed a burden on airlines. This is due to Garuda Indonesia's CRJ1000 operations which did not provide benefits since it was first operated. Therefore this study aims to analyze the causes of losses from these operations and provide operating restructuring recommendations to airlines. One cause of losses is low utilization. Low utilization causes higher fixed costs per ASK or per block hour. It can be seen that CM 3 on the CRJ1000 always received negative value. Therefore, this research will provide a scenario to increase utilization. Utilization addition is done through adding routes or frequencies by looking at high route passenger demand, connectivity, and total utilization reaching 8 hours. Thus, the results of this study are in the form of recommendations to airlines through the route or frequency scenarios used.
