Description
Summary:The development connectivity between Bogor and Sukabumi is growing, this is evidenced by the longer travel time through the highway and increasingly severe traffic jams at several points, for example Cibadak Market, Cicurug Market, etc. Currently, the government is aggressively carrying out infrastructure developments such as the construction of the Bocimi Toll Road (Bogor - Ciawi - Sukabumi) and the double track project for the Bogor-Sukabumi railroad. The existence of this double track will facilitate the accessibility of residents to and from Sukabumi. At this time there are several choices of public transportation for the Bogor - Sukabumi bridge such as the Pangrango Train, L300 Minibus, MGI Bus, etc. The construction of the first phase of the Bogor - Sukabumi railway between Bogor - Cicurug has been completed and is planned to be continued in Phase II, arriving until Sukabumi Station. The Pangrango train travel time is 2 hours, with the number of train trips here 3 times a day with frequency of trips of 6 hour so that the number of people transported is small. Therefore the government will build a double track on the Bogor-Sukabumi route. Characteristics of private vehicle users are dominated by men, aged 18-25 years, education level S1, income level > 2,000,000, does not own a car, owns 1 motorcycle and has a driver's license (SIM). The characteristics of public vehicle users are female dominance, age >55 years, high school education level, income level >2,000,000, and having a SIM (driving license). The results of the analysis of the difference in utility binomial logit results in an increase in the total travel time, total travel costs and vehicle headway, which will further reduce individual utility in choosing a train. A person's probability of switching increases by 4-6% if the total travel time scenario becomes 1.5 hours, probability of switching increases by 8-7% if the total travel cost scenario reduces Rp. 10.000 and increases by 10% if the headway scenario increase becomes every 3 hours with operational hours 12 hours in a day.
