Sustainability in aquaculture cultivation needs to be emphasized to enhance aquaculture production. Therefore, eFishery seeks this opportunity to develop innovations in the aquaculture field. However, along with business development, it is challenging to measure sustainability in aquaculture due to a significant problem in obtaining the data and setting the indicators. Through this study, the author develops several indicators using three dimensions of sustainability, environmental, social, and economic, to create a new sustainability scoring model. The author uses indicators such as water quality, FCR, the SR, farmers' awareness about fish health, farmers' aquaculture experience, ownership of the farming area, the regulation of all aspects of aquaculture management regarding technology, stock density per pond, pond productivity, farmers' fair income, and market access. Also, the author determined the effect of the financial performance of cultivation and farmers' characteristics on sustainability scoring. Financial Performance is defined by profit rate, and farmers’ characteristics are defined by farmers' age, experience, total pond, and other income sources. The author uses a systematic review of previous research on aquaculture to develop indicators and perform hypothesis testing with multiple regression analyses using SPSS 26 software. The author's objective is to establish an indicator system to assess and monitor aquaculture to be sustainable. The sustainability scoring results indicate that 85.7% of the farmers in this project have practiced good sustainability. The lowest score value is 36.36%, and the highest score is 90.91%, where the average score is 63.64%. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the profit level positively and significantly affects the sustainability score. In contrast, the farmers' age, experience, total pond, and other income sources have insignificant effects on the sustainability scores. text |
