Summary: | The market share of online transportation services shows an increasing trend in the
Southeast Asian region, especially in Indonesia. Many studies have been carried
out to examine the income factors of online transportation drivers, but there has
been no further research related to income factors in terms of driver account
characteristics in the application system. Gojek as one of the online transportation
applicators has a special system that is different from conventional motorcycle taxis
with a system for managing and distributing orders from passengers to drivers. In
this study, an analysis of the factors that affect the driver’s income is carried out in
terms of driver account characteristics such as rank level, achievement emblem on
the account and driver experience as duration of work.
This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through nonprobability
sampling technique with incidental sampling. Correlation test and
multiple linear regression modeling were performed with stepwise I method to
obtain best regression model of various alternative models. The results showed that
there were groups that received priority orders at the same rank level. The number
of orders and driver rank greatly affect the driver's income level both
simultaneously and partially. Regression models were obtained for the normal rank
driver group with R square (R2) of 0.846 r and the priority rank driver group of R
square (R2) of 0.428. |
