Description
Summary:Urban areas continue to experience growth over time. It is known that the suburbs of Jabodetabek experienced faster growth than the core areas. Cibinong District is located in the northern part of Bogor Regency. Cibinong District is also the capital of Bogor Regency. Cibinong District has a high level of accessibility, residential area and population density. The developments that occurred in Cibinong District had an influence on the development of the surrounding area. Kota Cibinong Raya is one of the development areas in the northern part of Bogor Regency which includes 7 subdistricts including Kemang, Tajurhalang, Bojonggede, Cibinong, Sukaraja, Babakan Madang and Citeureup Districts. There is a plan to prepare an RDTR for Kota Cibinong Raya with a Central Business District (CBD) plan in it. This has the potential to increase the growth of built-up land in Kota Cibinong Raya. This research was conducted to analyze changes in land cover in Kota Cibinong Raya in 2017-2021, analyze the factors that influence changes in non-built-up land cover to built-up land, and the implications for spatial planning. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that during 2017-2021, there was an increase in the area of built-up land by 28.65 km2 which showed an increase of 34.88% of the built-up area in 2017. An area of 23.64 km2 or 82.48% of the increase in built-up land in 2021 come from the conversion of agricultural land. Factors that affect changes in non-built-up land cover to built-up land in Kota Cibinong Raya in 2017-2021 include distance to the main road, distance to toll gates, rainfall and altitude. The amount of change in built-up land cover is directly proportional to the distance to the main road and toll gates, and inversely proportional to the amount of rainfall and altitude. These factors have an influence on changes in land cover by 39.7% so that there is 60.3% influence from other independent factors outside the model. The suitability of built-up land with the RTRW is 92.95% in 2017 and 91.18% in 2021. Most of the built-up land cover in Kota Cibinong Raya in 2017 and 2021 is in accordance with the spatial plan in the Bogor Regency RTRW 2016- 2036.
