Description
Summary:Land and forest fire events in Indonesia received attention from the international community. This is because the environment, to the socio-economic community is affected by the land and forest fire incident that occurred in the Indonesian region, land and forest fire in Riau Province has occurred more than 10 years ago. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution patterns of land and forest fires, analysis of land and forest fire hazard, the modeling of the impact of smoke distribution, analysis of vulnerability and risk analysis of land and forest fire in Kabupaten Pelalawan. The method used in this research is quantitative with a spatial approach, using land and forest fire hazard analysis techniques, spatial analysis, the modeling of the distribution of smoke using the online Hysplit Mode. The data used in this research is secondary data from the terra and aqua satellites and some secondary data from government agencies such as statistic data, RTRW and other supporting data. The results of this study indicate that the hotspots from 2015 to 2021 indicating land and forest fire were concentrated in several sub-districts, namely Kecamatan Teluk Meranti, Kuala Kampar, Pangkalan Kuras and Langgam and a fairly high number of hotspots was obtained around 650 points in 2015 and 501 points in 2019. The land and forest fire hazard analysis shows that there are several sub-districts classified as having a high level of danger. The haze distribution model generated from Hysplit shows an even distribution of smoke haze which is shown from the pattern showing the direction of smoke distribution almost covering Kabupaten Pelalawan with varying heights and impact distances. Land and forest fire risk analysis shows a different pattern when compared between 2015 and 2019, where there was an increase in areas classified as high risk in 2019. This research produces patterns of the impacts produced by land and forest fire, so that policy makers are able to pay attention to priority areas.
