Summary: | Indonesia has very abundant natural wealth, especially related to the potential for
new and renewable energy sourced from nature and its availability will not run
out. The potential of wind energy in Indonesia has an availability of 60 GW /
year. Buton Island Has a Wind Energy Potential of 15 MW.
In this study located on Buton Island, wind data was obtained from real wind
speed data measurement results using a wind mast anemometer at an altitude of
30m, 40m and 50m and windAtlas global data to obtain air density, Windrose,
The type of wind turbine used is type VS-155 3,6MW IV S, Battery, and
Converter, to supply the electrical load of Buton Island. wind power to find out
Net Present Cost, Inital Cost, Levelized Cost of energy, Cash flow, Annual
Energy Production, Annual Energy Consumption.
The simulation results using Homer PRO obtained a Windpower optimization
scheme to supply the electrical load of Buton Island, namely 36 units of VS-155
3.6MW type wind turbines, Generic type 1 MWh Li-ion Batteries, and 57 MW
capacity converters and from the Net Present Cost scheme of
Rp.3.680.000.000.000. and LCOE of Rp. 1.022 / kWh |
