INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/71590 The creation of paintings is based on the author's experience of human existence with one another which is considered neutral. But is there a relation in something we perceive as neutral? This experience of human existence is applied through the concept of 'Symbiosis Neutralism', which, although there is the word 'symbiotic' in relation, all interactions between living things in it terms are neutral. Faced with this seemingly absolute neutrality, the author uses the analogy of the relationship between a flower and a chameleon in an effort to break the status of neutrality. From the analysis of flowers and chameleons, the work is built using the elements of form and color– which are obtained using feelings and intuition – as variables to build the argument that between two living things that are regularly symbiotic of neutralism, actually have an attachment that is not can only be seen from a scientific point of view. Recognizing the element of entanglement between the potential of flowers and chameleons, the author presents light as an element that 'illuminates' the interaction of these visual elements, so by doing so acquiring color transparency. Through this work, the author hopes to present evidence that in this world there are no individuals who stand neutral and in the realm of art, the truth of feeling and intuition can be recognized as equal to scientific truth. text |

The creation of paintings is based on the author's experience of human existence
with one another which is considered neutral. But is there a relation in something
we perceive as neutral? This experience of human existence is applied through the
concept of 'Symbiosis Neutralism', which, although there is the word 'symbiotic' in
relation, all interactions between living things in it terms are neutral. Faced with
this seemingly absolute neutrality, the author uses the analogy of the relationship
between a flower and a chameleon in an effort to break the status of neutrality.
From the analysis of flowers and chameleons, the work is built using the elements
of form and color– which are obtained using feelings and intuition – as variables
to build the argument that between two living things that are regularly symbiotic of
neutralism, actually have an attachment that is not can only be seen from a
scientific point of view. Recognizing the element of entanglement between the
potential of flowers and chameleons, the author presents light as an element that
'illuminates' the interaction of these visual elements, so by doing so acquiring color
transparency. Through this work, the author hopes to present evidence that in this
world there are no individuals who stand neutral and in the realm of art, the truth
of feeling and intuition can be recognized as equal to scientific truth. |
