Description
Summary:Nihilism is a condition that can be felt by some humans. Each human beingalsofeels dif erent ef ects when experiencing this condition. According to Nietzsche, nihilism is a philosophical viewpoint, school, or school of philosophy that rejectscommon and fundamental components of human existence, such as objective truth, knowledge, morality, values, or the purpose of life. Nihilists hold the belief that human values have no guidelines, no purpose, and that knowledge cannot possibly remain the same. They also think that some things are pointless, meaningless, or non-existent. It is not uncommon for these ef ects to be seenasbad ef ects for some people. A nihilist can try creating art as a way of channelinganxiety, hopelessness, and helplessness. Thus, creating art can also be usedas acatharsis. Drawing with the subject matter of human figures is an optiontochannel the emotions of a nihilist. Using the theory of art as catharsis, a nihilist isable to channel his emotions through works of art. Besides using art as acatharsis, a nihilist can also use art as a symbolic expression, to convey what theyfeel. In this final project, the author positions himself as a passive nihilist whowants to express what he feels, and can make art as a mediumfor channelingemotions, besides that, this final project can be the author's journey to becomeabetter person.
