The problem of this study comes from digitalization as one of the critical external strategic environments that make organizations must make changes and continuous improvements by developing collaboration capabilities to integrate various resources, data, information, and knowledge to ensure their performance and competitive advantage. Collaboration between agents (employees or team members) from different teams or work units in the internal organization, which will be referred to as inter-agent collaboration, is built from interactions between agents that are influenced by various organizational elements within it. Based on that, this study wants to analyze the process of interaction between agents and the deepening of relationships with organizational elements that influence the enhancement of inter-agent collaboration. Research Methods used by considering the characteristics and complexity of the research, as well as the need to see the dynamics of the agent in the process and its relationship with elements in the organizational environment, the Agent-based Modeling and Simulation (ABMS) method is one of the soft systems approach methods chosen in this study. There are findings/conclusions from this study that ambidextrous leadership of team leaders and different types of team organization structure affect inter-agent collaboration. Flat organizational team structures produce more interactions with higher inter-agent collaboration types than hierarchical team structures. text |
