These travelers transit shift in developing countries influenced by the deterioration of level of service in urban public transit, except demographical and psychological reasons. However, Bandung City case shows that urban public transport vehicles did not diminish in their amount. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Research that was done by descriptive survey shows that cost efficiency on daily operating is the reason for the urban public transport exist in Bandung City, careless their effect on level of service. Drivers always maintain their income higher than daily operating cost. The lowest income ratio to cost is 1,2 whereas the highest is 2,5. Driver’s behaviors influenced by, and depend on, passenger amount, despite of traffic congestion. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Driver’s moving time and distance adjustment do not always in a line with the regulated path but depend on number of passengers to convey. Urban public transport crosses only in a road segment with higher number of passenger. With this condition, not all vehicles run through Ciroyom Terminal because passenger average amount in this area only 2,3 p/km (on Monday), 1,5 p/km (on Friday) and 0,7 p/km (on Sunday) on compare with Cicaheum Terminal area with 9,2 p/km (on Monday), 6,3 p/km (on Friday) and 5,8 p/km (on Sunday). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Urban public transport drivers shows their refuse to a propose that will tightly regulate their terminal points along the corridor but for the regulation on number of vehicles and specification they shows their acceptance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Spatial-temporal variances of public transportation demand illustration that covered in this research for the Cicaheum-Ciroyom corridor and driver’s resistance may give short and brief initial information for the substitution of small capacity transit vehicle that is dominant nowadays, to a bigger one for improvement of road space usage efficiency in the city. text
