This research therefore proposed an alternative method for relating RMR parameters and span with the probability stability of unsupported stope based on the results of the logistic regression. Logistic regression performed on the 292 data of stope stability revealed an accuracy of 84.0%. It was also shown that span affect the stability of the stope more than RMR. Graphs of stability zones of unsupported stope and stope stability isoprobability contours have also been proposed. text |
