Summary: | Cianjur regency is one of the areas that are widely used for agriculture and plantations. This is evidenced by cianjur regency became one of the suppliers of vegetables for Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang and Bekasi. Some of the vegetables produced and the demand is quite high are chili, cabbage and tomatoes. Although the land is widely used for agricultural land and plantations, there are still about 22,483 Ha in the form of mountains and other areas that are still not fully utilized. Therefore it is very important to zone classification the land by calculating meteorological parameters so that the three plants can grow optimally.
This research starts from the processing of rainfall and temperature data to produce climate suitability tables. Then the topographic data and soil type data are processed to produce land suitability tables. Both tables are processed using the scoring method so that it will produce a map of land suitability and climate. In addition, Landsat 8 satellite imagery data is used to see the economic potential in 2020.
Cianjur regency has climate Type A based on Schmidt - Ferguson climate. While for rainfall is controlled by climate variability including monsoon and ENSO. Cianjur regency has 4 class land suitability class and climate for the three plants, where the largest S1 class chili and tomato plants are in Cikalong Kulon District 2.65% (9,319 Ha). Meanwhile, the highest S1 cabbage plant area was in Pagelaran District 0.5% (1,915 Ha). For its potential in 2020, each chili, cabbage and tomato is a chili area of 216.23 Ha (potential Rp. 8.536.160.362), tomatoes are 17.06 Ha (potential Rp.196,970,410), while the cabbage plant is 0.06 Ha (potential Rp. 426.431). |
