Summary: | PT Pateron Edukasi Indonesia is a company engaged in the edu-tech industry. Currently, the company is experiencing the problem of decreasing the number of new users from 200 users per day to 130 users per day. After further review, the problem stems from a problem with the company's website loading time. As a result, users cannot access the website normally, there are even cases where users cannot use the PT Pateron Edukasi Indonesia website at all.
This study aims to improve website performance, especially loading times using the six sigma methodology with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach. At the define stage, project charters are made, business process designs are carried out, and the website development flow is made. Then, at the measure stage, the process of calculating website performance, especially load time, is carried out. At this stage it is known that the Pateron website has a waiting time of up to 13.9 seconds with grade E. This indicates the need for improvements to be made to the company's website. Furthermore, in the analyze stage, the process of analyzing the testing instrument is carried out and in the improve stage, the process of designing alternative solutions with the coding process is carried out. and designing the proposed flow of website development. In the last stage there is a control stage in the form of making standard operating procedures.
The results of this study are in the form of a website page prototype with better performance than the existing website with a total loading time value of 13.9 seconds to 7.6 seconds. In addition to this, improvements to the website development flow were also made by using website stagging as an internal testing medium by the programmer team.
